Production Photography
This course provides students with the essential skills needed to plan and manage large-scale photographic and video productions. They will develop expertise in project planning, concept Development, scheduling, budgeting, casting, advanced lighting techniques, and post-production processes. Emphasis is placed on thorough preparation and effective project management. Learning is reinforced through collaborative, team-based work on real projects, simulating professional environments. Topics covered include an introduction to production photography and video, concept development, project proposals and presentations, logistical issues and solutions, scheduling and task assignments, testing talent and technologies, working to the script or concept, project management practices, appropriate uses of post-production, and the creation of storyboards, scripts, and shot lists. This approach helps students build the practical and leadership skills necessary to execute complex productions successfully
